Panel discussion: How to get a job in Finland?
September 27, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
EVENT IS FULL!
Due to limited space – please come only if you have registered in advance, thank you!
Welcome to an afternoon of discussion about job search!
What does it take to get into the Finnish job market? What can I do while I’m job hunting to improve my chances? What should I take into account when writing a cover letter and making a CV? Is it true that networks are all in Finland when it comes to landing a job? All of these questions -and many more!- pop up in our minds when applying for jobs in Finland. While there are no ultimate answers, we will bring together a set of panelists, with different areas of expertise, who will share their views and discuss suggestions for strategy. The audience can also bring questions and experience for the panel to discuss. The discussion will be in English.
Register in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also send questions in advance to the same email.
The panelists are Alexandra Petrova that will speak from a recruitment perspective, Saara Ruotsalainen that will give practical advice for the job search (CV tips among other things), and Diego Barros that will speak about networking.
(Matias Fredriksson that would have talked about the services offered by TE-office is unfortunately sick and won’t join the panel.)
