Language courses in Finland are divided into levels A to C, with A being the beginner’s level. The levels are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
You can take the official YKI language test (National Certificate of Language Proficiency) in Finnish or Swedish through authorised test centres and adult education institutes in Finland. If you want to prepare for the YKI test, you can find efficient preparation courses from different organisations on Ilmonet.fi, including Arbis Espoo, Arbis Helsinki, and other adult education centres offering courses in Swedish.
