Luckan Integration organises a Swedish Language Café on Tuesdays from Tuesdays at 17:30 – 19:00. The café is run by Kvinnliga Akademiker i Helsingfors.
Swedish Language Café at Oodi Library, Helsinki
In cooperation with Luckan Integration there is a language café at Ode library for those willing to practice speaking Swedish in a laid back manner. The language café meets on Wednesdays from 17:30 – 19:00, 2nd floor, group room 3 (not learning space 3).
Swedish Language Café at Iso Omena Library, Espoo
In cooperation with Espoo municipality we arrange language café for anyone who wants to practice their Swedish through discussion in a laid-back environment in Espoo. The Swedish Language Café takes place every Thursday from 17:30-19:00 at Iso Omena Library, Aalto room. The programme is adapted according to the participants’ needs and wishes.
Swedish Language Café at Grankulla Library
In cooperation with Grankulla municipality there is a language café for anyone who wants to practice their Swedish through discussion in a welcoming environment in Grankulla. The Swedish Language Café takes place every Friday from 14:30-16:00 at Grankulla Library, Diktonius room.
Swedish Language Café in Borgå
In cooperation with Multicultural Association of Porvoo (MAPorvoo) there is a language café for anyone who wants to practice their Swedish through discussion in a welcoming environment in Borgå. The Swedish Language Café takes place every Wednesday from 17:30-19:00 at Kulturhuset Grand.
Reading and Writing Clubs in Easy Swedish at Luckan, Helsinki
Join our Reading Club in Easy Swedish at Luckan in Helsinki to practice your language skills through engaging literature discussions. Set up like a relaxed language café, each session explores easy-to-read Swedish texts where you can gain confidence and share inspiration with fellow learners.
Meetings take place on Mondays 7.9 / 5.10 / 2.11 / 7.12 from 18:00 to 19:30.
The club is completely free of charge, but prior registration is required.
If you enjoy creative expression, our Writing Club in Easy Swedish offers a safe, encouraging space to read short pieces together and craft your own texts. Every session starts with a simple poem, story, or creative piece, followed by guided individual writing time and an optional chance to share your work with the group.
We meet on Mondays 21.9 / 19.10 / 16.11 / 21.12 from 18:00 to 19:30.
Participation is free, but registration is required, and you are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as you like.

Internationellt kulturcafé / International Cultural Café in Swedish
The Good Coffee Company organizes the International cultural café in Swedish on Thursdays between 16:00-17:00. Their aim is to provide an opportunity for foreigners to practice Swedish with local Swedish speakers. There is a facilitator for the discussion, and they offer free coffee, tea, and biscuits for the participants.
