Nordic Language Café at Nordic Culture Point
Are you interested in learning to speak one of the Nordic languages? Visit the popular language café to brush up your Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Northern Sámi or Icelandic. In autumn 2026 they meet monthly, starting on 23.9, between 17:00-19:00 at Nordic Culture Point, Kaisaniemenkatu 9.

At the library in Dickursby/Tikkurila you will find the Språkcafé på svenska. It is held on Mondays between 14:00 and 15:00. Each time, there is a special theme, many of which are suggested by participants in the spring.

Do you want to learn Swedish or get better at speaking it? Welcome to this autumn’s Swedish courses at Andreaskyrkan! We offer both a beginner’s course and a conversation course. If you have a baby, that’s okay too – babysitting is available on the spot.

The Good Coffee Company organizes the International cultural café in Swedish on Thursdays between 16:00-17:00. Their aim is to provide an opportunity for foreigners to practice Swedish with local Swedish speakers. There is a facilitator for the discussion, and they offer free coffee, tea, and biscuits for the participants.
