On Wednesday 20 of April we arranged Include more!, a seminar for organizers of Swedish-language hobby activities. The idea was to give solid tips and advice to associations and other organisations on how to more easily welcome people from other cultures into their activities. Among the speakers were Magdalena Kosová, Åbo Akademi University, doctoral student in sociology, about how hobbies can improve integration, and Linna Lindgård, Helsinki city, coordinator of Finlandsmodellen. The purpose of Finlandsmodellen is that it should be possible for all children and young people to have a free of charge hobby that they like in connection with the school day. The feedback from the audience was that they got relevant and current information.
